Albuquerque has exploded with so many new and exciting eateries representing the four corners of the world. What better way to explore these places with new business contacts and helping Best Buddies at the same time.
Please join or Business Buddies Board and help us organzie some fantastic events. Business Buddies will feature a different venue each month. The Business Buddies Board will identify the featured venue, negotiate drink specials and menu items, identify 1-2 business sponsors and create a membership package with benefits.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your talents and network among peers. While you are making new friends and enjoying the happy hour festivities, you will be helping our community create long lasting 1-1 friendships for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at our ten chapters at the same time.
Friends like Morgan and Shanece who are best of friends thanks to their involvement with Best Buddies.
Best Buddies changes lives so profoundly. Imagine a world where you always ate lunch alone, even in a crowded high school cafeteria; where noone called you on the phone or sent you an email; and where noone said hello to you in the hallway.
This is the reality for many of our friends who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, until they get invovled in Best Buddies. Today, we have 320 participants in best Buddies, but we also have a waiting list of just as many.
